Speedos (Speedoes? Speedi?) are indigenous to the Continent, and primarily those regions touching the Mediterranean Sea. Scandinavia and the British Isles are the exceptions to the rule, and thus you have a skewed sample set.
You're right Dean. I did use a skewed sample set but I think my hypothesis remains intact. And I like Speedi.
